TRAINING
Drawing on a wealth of knowledge and experience within the maritime industry, IMS has developed comprehensive training programs covering all the required skills both practical and theoretical with regards to operating, maintaining and managing high speed craft in International waters
IMS is able to produce a Vessel Specific Task Book to enable the client's crew to notarize their Type Rate training. Translators can be provided for foreign companies where the trainees are not fluent in written & spoken English.
The comprehensive training packages are delivered as follows:
Lectures carried out in a classroom based on:
- Use of the task book in conjunction with the appropriate equipment's operation manual;
- Theoretical and basic evaluation of the vessel's handling & characteristics.
Hands-on training on the vessel alongside and at sea (if applicable) with all equipment; Specific training sections at sea including manoeuvring training.
