Services

A big feather in the IMS cap is our very much sought after commissioning skills. These skills come from years of close working relationships and the trust placed in us by some of Australia’s leading shipbuilders. Our experience and extensive exposure as captains and engineers to the latest bridge and engine room equipment over the years, on vessels ranging in size from 16 metres to 126 metres, has allowed us to easily familiarise ourselves with the latest technologies and therefore minimise the time necessary for commissioning and FMEA trials.

Time and time again our experience is called upon to either take control or assist the yards commissioning crew to run up and test the function of the vessel’s bridge and engine room systems, working with both manufacturers’ technicians, and in many cases the class, state and commonwealth regulatory authorities. Because of our experience in high speed ferries, especially ones fitted with water-jet propulsion systems and high speed diesels, we have been invited by yards in the UK, USA and Singapore to assist with the commissioning trials and delivery of their latest new-build vessels.

Do you require:

  • A vessel, large or small, new or old delivered to a destination anywhere in the world?

  • A Commissioning Captain or a Commissioning Engineer for new build commissioning and sea-trials?

  • Owner's representation during the construction period?

  • An experienced relief Captain or crew for a Motor Yacht?

We have proven to overseas clients in the past that Australia is not too far away. We offer our services at the most competitive prices! No matter where your company is situated around the globe, please take the time to contact us for an immediate quotation. In most cases we will get back to you by the very next day.
