Svitzer Marine Makes Use of IMS Services IMS has been contratced by Svitzer Marine to relocate two of their tugs, (Giru and Werra) from Townsville to Brisbane and Sydney respectively.
New Bhagwan Tug to be delivered The latest addition to the Bhagwan Marine fleet ("Bhagwan Shaker") has been completed by Strategic Marine. IMS will begin doing the sea trials on the 22nd of June and will then also take charge of relocating it from Vietnam to their yard in Dampier Australia. (click here to see the launching)
Big Things Coming in The USA IMS has recently signed a Technical Assistance Agreement with Austal USA and the US State Department to supply captain and crews for the LCS and JHSC vessels sea trials.
IMS Secures Management of Another Motor yacht - Captain Brendan Cooley leaves for Europe on Monday 10th May to take charge as "owners representative" during the final build stages and sea trials of a 37m luxury motor yacht.
Oceanfast Contract IMS to Relocate their 48m Luxury Motor Yacht - IMS has relocated the 48m Australis from Henderson Australia to Dubai where it was on display at the Dubai Boat Show. IMS has employed a full yacht crew to deliver and manage the vessel for an indefinite period.

Korea to Mexico - The 51.5m ferry "Sergio Gracia Aguilar" which was built in Korea for a Mexican client arrived in Cancun after a long and arduous journey. Even though the vessel departed long after the original suggested date due to late completion and thus had to travel through some severe weather and sea conditions, the IMS crew handled every obstacle thrown at them in a positive and professional manner, ensuring that the vessel arrived safe and sound.
Due to the unusually long distances between bunker ports, the vessel had to carry 80 tons of excess fuel on her decks. IMS employed the services of a Naval Architect to ensure the safest placement of the reserve tanks so as not to put the crew in any unnecessary danger.
Two More Tugs From Hong Kong - After successfully delivering the first two tugs for Riverside Marine, IMS has also delivered "Riverwijs Fiona" and "Riverwijs Maria". All four tugs departed from Hong Kong and headed for Dampier Australia.
Sea Spirit Arrives in Mexico - The 61,5m ferry, crewed by IMS arrived in Mexico on the 17th November after a lengthy but successful voyage from Adelaide Australia.
Owner representation - IMS has been contracted by a leading Nigerian company to oversee the building and commissioning of 4 crew supply vessels which will be built by SBF Ship Builders in Henderson WA. Training - IMS was
contracted by Austal to carry out an intensive training program on their six new "Fast Patrol
